When this shit is over Im gonna work on that third mod, cause the first two are handled.;)

But for real Jimmy, I'll PM if that is a serious offer.
Oh yeah I'm serious! You'll get an idea of what tools you should start collecting. My LX fits in my garage in H mode also so if your 100 doesn't fit then you definitely don't need a lift :)

My 100 hasn't fit inside in awhile so I just suck it up and work on it outside now.. have done timing, diff swap, steering rack, etc, etc, outside. Garage is wonderful but not essential for dirty work like suspension.

You're getting some great input here and none is off the mark in the least, here's how mine went...

I ran cranked t-bars and stock shocks up front with coils and spacers with stock shocks in the rear for a long long time and hit lots of trails and had tons of fun. While enjoying that cheap lift mode I also installed an front ARB locker to protect me from breakage and focused on armor, camping crap and reliability. By the time I'd come back around to looking at the suspension again I was in a better place to make choices as the other stuff was behind me and the weight wasn't changing around as much. (and I knew I wanted to be able to run as fast as my short travel heavy beast would be able to leading me to fun choices in shocks etc)

So I go ala-carte on suspension, picking up what I need when I think I need it and today am very very happily running:

Iron Man front T-bars (stiffest out there, no front sway bar installed).
OME 8864 rear coils (tall despite my heavy truck, no sag issues here).
Slee Remote Resivor 100 shocks x4 (this is the magic).
Total Chaos UCA's (UCA's not necessary until your stockers are shot)
Metal Tech Real Links (Again, if stockers are shot OR pinion angle adjustment is needed)
Slee Rear Panhard (Not really necessary for adjustment on 100 heights but my stocker was shot so why not)

I still kinda want some better front bump stops in the form of timbrens or superbumps or real air bumps in the future to better exploit the tiny bit of front travel on the 100 IFS.

Happy Liftin'!

Save some money, buy OME865 springs ($125-$150), adjust your torsion bars (free) and get an alignment. Keep the stock shocks for now, or if they're totally worn out, buy new OE shocks (like $30 each)

That'll give you about 1.5" of lift and keep the ride nice and smooth.... like a Land Cruiser. Once you save some more money, then you can drop it off at Slee for the bigger lift.

Replacing the rear springs is a one-man job. You can probably get a local shop to do it for very cheap. It's less than two hours of work (including everything and clean-up). The 865's are actually shorter than the stock spring (but with a higher spring rate, which will give you a little lift) so they're easy to swap with the stock ones.

Here's how 865's, stock shocks and 33's will look. This was almost 10 years ago. It was one of my favorite configurations. Simple, inexpensive and functional for everyday driving.

This guy might know a thing or two about the 100 series. ;) He definitely sees enough of them in all forms to know.

I have not seen training mentioned. Get some! Many of us train with Bill Burke and we occasionally get great deals from Bill on RS Club trainings. You will learn a tremendous amount from Bill and with the sage advice you have gotten so far, you will enjoy the hobby all the more. https://bb4wa.com/

I stopped by Slee to grab OME coils. I am going to do the 865 coils and the rear, and stock torsion bars. Can someone confirm I got the right coils. When I picked them up my invoice said 91-97 land cruiser, and then the box contents say 865X which is doin me a concern. First time purchasing coils so not sure how OME naming scheme works:unsure:

Thanks again to Jimmy, I am super appreciative to have someone who would offer tools, time, and space. I learned a ton and I am super happy to have some lift on my vehicle. Also I am freaking stoked to be apart of club that flocks in droves to help anyone out, and make sure everyone can drive the best Land Cruiser possible:risingsun
