Copart Conversation

Quick update on the WRX I bought. The original seller screwed up signing the title, so the DMV would not accept it, told me I had to get a new title from Copart. Fortunately copart made that process pretty easy, I just had to wait a little over a month for them to get the new title from MO then send it to me. So I took everything to the DMV Friday and was able to walk out with a clean title in hand and fresh plates. I was at the counter for almost an hour and they had me pretty nervous that they weren't going to accept the new title as well since the admin people at copart just signed everything with their first initial and full last name. Luckily the lady at the counter was real nice and as helpful as I've seen from someone at the DMV and allowed me to call copart(which transferred me around for about 15 minutes before I was finally able to get the ladies first name). I can't believe that I am the first person to run into this issue with how copart filled out the title. @HDavis did you ever have any issues like this?

Man! Nope! I’ve never had that problem. I did buy one in Casper Wyoming once and that Copart location was able to give me temp tags and I drove it back to Denver, that was cool. I’ve heard plenty of complaints but my experience has been good. I also haven’t purchased a car from Copart since 2024.

Anybody interested in 97 triple locked LX450 with a front end crash and bent frame? I don’t have the time to do a frame swap but it’s about to be available at copart denver unless I do a buy-back - happy to work something out with somebody here if they’re interested. Shoot me a DM

Latest copart flipper, 2013 bmw x3 xdrive28i.

got smacked in the driver fender/wheel assembly. Replacing control arms then hopefully she'll be a cheap driver for the wife for a bit.

Same here, scored a Sportsmobile Chevy Express. I’ve got no idea what’s wrong with it yet.
