I like your idea of a 4Runner\IFS run. It's about time WE had one of those. I'm all booked up in Sept. and Oct hunting etc. But, we may need to have another one. That would be fun.

Back in the early 2000's us YotaTech guys were all modifying our new 3rd gens. A lift, 33's sliders, skid plates and a rear locker\traction control was the shizizzle. We were all trying to tackle Chiaman's, Holy cross, Wheeler, Spring Creek and Red Elephant hill. Those trails are a lot harder now. The trails you mentioned would probably be a comparable replacement these days.

Okie dokie, that's a bummer. I figure the next one will be earlier in the day.

Can I get a roll call of for sure going and tentative peeps?
I'm very tempted to come up in my Hilux Surf, it's a 96. I went on the camping trip at Coney Flats that the group put on a little while ago it was pretty fun, we saw lots of mooses and stuff. I'm riding stock height on 31"s and I made it through everything but 1 spot near the top I got stuck on my fuel tank skid plate pretty good and they had to pull me through it, but maybe a better line would prove more successful there, or better rock stacking. But I would probably camp at the big water crossing because I want to go hike up to the lakes up there and do some fishing, that was really fun last time and really good fishing. But I only went to the lower lake and not the lake further up.

I just went up it and it does seem a little trickier than I remember, especially going up at the top area. And where'd the big rock that was in the middle of the water crossing go??? Or am I thinking of another trail???

Hopefully if everything goes to plan, I plan on doing at least wheeler lake next summer or fall. I have a big list of additions I hope I can get to this winter and spring. Regear, locker(s?), body lift(?) to add to the 3" sus. lift, 35's, sliders, trans & diff skids. Should be a fun winter of wrenching.

I’m in, for sure. Talking with a buddy who is club curious about joining the run…he is either in a IFS Taco or Runner. Give those odds a 50/50 for now.
