If anyone ever finds yourself rewiring your FJ40 with a Kwik Wire harness and you want to put it in the stock location, I designed a bracket you can run through a 3D printer. ***Full disclosure, it is currently printing and I have not assessed for fit*** 3mm thick and the hole location for the 40 and Kwik Wire mounts were designed with a combination of cardboard-aided design, micrometer, and Tinkercad.com.

I went to go look at it and it wanted me to sign up for a Tinkercad account. I have one but don't use it (I use Solidworks and Onshape); to make this more widely useful for our members, I'd suggest downloading the STL file and then posting it in Thingiverse where you can download stuff without having to create an account.

I hadn't heard of Kwik Wire harnesses before and looked it up. When you mention the "stock location" do you mean the stock location of the fuse block?

Good call. Never messaged around with thingiverse. I'll check that tonight. And yeah, the location where the factory fuse block was, on my 78 at least. Left side of the firewall on the left side of the 40. Not sure if the fuse block location was consistent across years, but suspect that it was not.

Alright, the library 3d printing came through way faster than I expected. There were a few minor, as in mm, spacing issues on the hole locations, but a file made quick work of that. I need to extend the length of the supports as well. I will update the drawing and reupload.

Drats! Don't use this. The fuse box will be the way of the clutch pedal. Forgot about that part. Back to drawing board.
