Trail Ready
Well the 80 went under the knife and I’m officially set up with front and rear lockers with 5.29s and a new battery system. Threw on some Slee arms as well…this is what’s left…
Both compressors are single ARBs with all wiring. One was lightly used in my truck for airing up, no lockers. That one comes with a switch and a female air chuck, but you’d need a solenoid for lockers. The other was used for a single locker and has that solenoid attached with the older blue line, bulkhead fitting and tubing (ARB moved to more durable black line and different bulkhead fittings, full disclosure). It also has the Slee single compressor mount attached, but you’ll need a couple of nutserts and a tool (Amazon or Slee sell them) to make it work as well as an ARB switch. Mounts to the right of the brake booster on an 80, check Slees website for info: https://sleeoffroad.com/products/sok0026/
The locker is a clicker style locker (Aussie locker). I tore it out for an air locker but was told it isn’t too bothersome. Cheap option for one who doesn’t care or a dedicated trail rig.
The National Luna dual battery system will come with an OEM RH battery tray, but the Slee washer bottle bracket will be needed to make it work (https://sleeoffroad.com/products/sok1001/) Comes with wiring, fuses, solenoid and in-cab controller with linkable override for winching and low battery voltage alarm. Great, simple product. Installed in an 80 series, so all wiring lengths should be good to go for that application.
Compressors I figure are fair at $200/ea.?
Locker with carrier I’d let go for $150, I guess.
Battery system, I figure $300 is fair since I’m including the OEM tray?
Stock radius arms? Come and get ‘em. They’re just making my house heavier.
I’m negotiable to a certain degree. Only posted here for now. Wanted you gents to have a first go before it hits Facebook if things don’t move.
