Awesome! Thank You for taking this on..... Now how about the install, is there anyone on the forum who knows how and wants to do this? Or recommend someone? I'm terrible at these type of installs, I usually rip a piece or it's off centered so if there is a special we can get for a group install I would be in.
Boulder Cruiser was going to talk to his guy & see if he is interested, and also if he might offer a group buy rate (which will still be dependent on complexity of the project). I think he might be our best bet for good results. Beyond that, we could try to do a group “striping party” so to speak where we all try & help each other. Might at least make our failures more fun!

Finally saw our clear bra guy. He is definitely willing to install them at a group discount/cash price. It will still be dependent on how big/complicated the strip is. If interested give him a call to set it up.

His name is Eric he owns All Clear here in Boulder

Not sure exactly, but we can settle up when they come in & we're making handoffs & such. When the time comes it can be digital or cash, or whatever.
Hi there! I just wanted to check in - I have not been on the forum in a while. Do you have an ETA on the body striping? Thanks again for setting this all up!

I don’t have an eta exactly, but honestly any day now is my best guess. They shipped via air mail over a week ago. They sat in Sydney for a few days due to limited planes these days, but left Australia a few days ago. Once they left Australia, the tracking is basically worthless, so I can’t really update from there, other than they must be close by now.

All good! Thanks for the update.

Are you going to be at Cruise moab? If so, that might be the best way for me to pick mine up. Or maybe you could hand mine off to someone who's going if you're not? (Assuming you get them prior to CM, hopefully) 😉

I'm on the waiting list, so probably not at this point. But if they get here first, I could definitely pass it on to someone in the club that is going. That would definitely be the cheapest, and likely easiest way to get it done I figure. There are a couple of other non locals in the buy too, so if they are going, we could do the same thing with them too!

Great idea!

Continuing their streak as the worst post office in America, the Ned post office accidentally sent one box on to Parshall, CO. So I have one box of two so far. Hopefully I can gather the rest tomorrow, but I bet it will be later next week.

Got the second box today! I’ll figure out what everyone owes, and post up. I’ll also plan on going to the meeting tomorrow to deliver to anyone that might be going.

Thanks!

@gr8fulabe - I'm not sure if I can make the meeting tomorrow. Can I send you a digital payment and have somebody pick up my stripes?

@stusic are you going to the meeting? Anybody else live near downtown or Englewood?

I'll be at the meeting. What do I need to do? I'm to lazy to read back in the thread...

@stusic I'll text you. It's easy.

@gr8fulabe Let me know about digital payment. If that works you can hand off my stripes to Philip (stusic) tomorrow. I can send cash with him if you'd like.

Please feel free to check my math. I'm not to proud to be double checked. Price in AUD, minus the 20%, x the exchange rate back on March 30th. He wouldn't take Amex, so I had a foreign transaction fee. To keep it simple, i just split it across all units orders equally. But I can do the math if people prefer it by value. Then the $10 shipping. No duties.

Best,
Abe

Had mine installed today. Spoke with Eric and he said some of you have reached out already, he’s happy to help anyone that’s needs the work done. He’s a good guy.
No pics? I was wondering who might have them done & pics first. I should have realized it would be you, having the connection & all!

I can’t wait to see all the stripes!
