I know. I've been driving cruisers for almost 30 years.

I've owned 3 fj40's, 2 fj60's and a handful of trucks and never paid 10k for any of them. Times have changed and the hip$ters want old Toyotas, so the old time enthusiast's without deep pockets get driven from the hobby.

But those old time enthusiasts with the FJ40s would by this merit have deep pockets because their vehicles are worth a lot more, so I guess it's what your current ownership position is.

I might contact him and see if he’ll tell me if he got asking price when he sells it. If so, I might be putting the hundy up for sale.

No, he's had two for a while and decided to split them up. Seems suspect, moving overseas but will trade for another toy. I reached out to him about the parts truck, and he's one of those "make an offer" people. I offered 800 and he was offended, said scrap yard would give him more. Its a heap and on CL for 2500. I paid less than that for my complete truck in my profile pic.
