Need to zinc (cadmium?) plate four shackle plates and am looking for some input. Looks like there are two places in Denver that do this sort of work but their websites make it look like they only do major projects. Haven't called them yet but thought I'd ask if anyone has experience along these lines. AxleIke fabbed up some 1" longer than the original aftermarket shackle sideplates for the rear of the 40 that need to be rustproofed and to match the front shackles in appearance. I see that you can buy DIY plating kits but $65-70 for four little plates is more than I want to spend. Help anybody?
Thanks

I need a Nickel plating place. I called Denver Metal Finishing. They only do industrial work.
They recommended I call Ajax Custom Plating on S. Broadway (303) 777-8930. Guy at Ajax said sure, c'mon in and I'll take a look and give you a price, and it will be 8 weeks to complete.
I'll report back on progress.
