I am planning on going on the Ouray trip over Labor Day and the bump steer with this manual steering is about to tear my arms out of the sockets on the trail. I need to replace the steering stabilizer on my 1980 FJ40. I have had bad luck ordering this type of thing from places like Four Wheel Parts, but the best price I have found from Toyota specialty sites is over $100 after shipping. Does anyone have a working stabilizer sitting in their garage? It doesn't have to be pretty. I would prefer a Rancho. I already have the two little tapered stud mounting bolts.
