Wiring a Kill switch, electrical not fuel...

Well, I am going to finally get around to installing a kill switch in my 40. Which post on the coil is the ground? I am assuming the negative side of the coil? I am not wanting to run power into the cab...

Anyone done this?

I obviously plan on hiding my kill switch amongst many other boobie traps, just trying to figure out which wire to tap into for a switch.

My garage is my best theft device, but campus is starting again, and I would like one more of my many... "no you can't have it" measures.

PM me if you don't want to post up here.

Thanks!:thumb:

Drew, you should take pictures and do a write-up on this. I've thought about putting a kill switch in my 40 but don't know anything about 'em.

If I tried this without direction I'm afraid I would "kill" the poor 40 :hill:

If you interrupt the ground on the coil make sure it is not obvious and not near the coil!
