My wipers park just fine and in the right spot when turned off, but they don't sweep as far as they should. That is, there's a wedge of un-wiped windshield in the center, and the DS doesn't go as far left as I think it should.

How do I adjust the sweep longer, but not effect where they 'park'? I couldn't find any info in my manuals  I'm sure i just missed it, though

thanks!

I'd clean or adjust the contacts in the motor that dictate when power is applied to the wiper motor. I suspect if you carefully take the motor assembly apart, you'll see what's up.

Pull both wiper arms off and reinstall so that the wipers sit about 1" from the rubber gasket surrounding your windshield. You won't miss the bottom part, and the wipers should not be hitting that gasket anyway. They should stay on the glass.

Good call. I was just showing that there will probably be a wedge in the middle and that even as high as the wipers go there's still a few inches on the side that don't get wiped.
