Finally replaced my damaged flare from my accident over 3 years ago. This is a LX450 fender I snagged from Littleton U-Pull a couple years ago.
Total PITA because of bending to the inner fender and radiator core, but I got everything lined up and bolted back together.
Seems the LX fender, while having the same mount points, is just slightly different than the 80 fender as it flares out just slightly in the middle. I like that look for not running flares, makes me want to do the other side, even though it’s very subtle
Nice to have this fixed and proper side light working again. Now I have to figure out my Durabak refresh. I did that a decade ago and it needs a full refresh so this will force me to get off my ass and do it.
