Warn Winch control backwards

I bought my winch used. Warn M8000. The controls are backwards. I've used other people's controllers and they work backwards too. (DOWN = Line OUT instead of down = line in).

Frankly, having some Polish ancestory, I don't have a REAL problem with it, but...

Do I simply have the battery cables on backwards? (Doubt it) Anyone have the solenoid diagram handy?

LOL! Mine's backwards too. When I rebuilt the mechanicals last month I thought about correcting it, but I've gotten so used to the way it is I figured I'd better not confuse myself!

OK, I'll leave mine Zep style too. "Down and out!" is easy to remember.
