Doughboy and I are installing a 10,000 lb vehicle lift at my place in Cotopaxi on Saturday, December 19, 2020 and could use a few extra hands. Of course, helping entitles you to lifetime (that’s my lifetime…lol) use of the lift.

If you’re interested and available, please post here and I'll PM you more details. Thanks in advance! Dave

I would be in if I didn't already have plans. Are you bolting to the floor or is it free standing?

I’m and and I’ll bring at least one buddy, also jimmy if I can. Incredibly, we’ve been offered a nearly new 10,000 lift for free for our new space. We could use the practice setting one up!

Yep I'll be there if possible, lots of stuff going on lately so I can't promise.

Keep me in the loop. I should be available to come down and help.

@J1000 maybe we could do at the tail end or beginning of the trip?

Thanks to Inukshuk, gungriffin, DanielChase and Kendell for the help in getting this done. Few small details to finish up and we're fully operational!

Nice job guys, and sweet garage Dave!

I recently helped a neighbor install one of those 2 post lifts in a machine shed/shop. (We used my track loader from work.)There were some really specific requirements for the concrete. Slab thickness and a pull out test with a really high torque value. Just curious if you built the slab with that lift in mind? Safety first! 😉

Yes, I had the concrete engineered for a lift and heavy equipment. 14 x 14 doors and 16ft walls. I also have an old John Deere backhoe that weights in at 19K lbs that I can get inside to work on if necessary. (But not on the lift...lol). So the thicker slab makes it safe all around.
