When you get a rare 70 degree day in the mountains you go nuts getting your bike out of winter storage to get a quick ride in! (Snow is forecasted for today!)

Well......the "working on vehicle gremlins" woke up as well and were on overtime! I Broke an allen wrench tip while installing new clutch/brake controls and that took 2 hours to fix and then the new hand guard crashguards took another 3 hours to install due to having to move the hand controls a dozen times because the instructions were in bad german to english translation!

Got a whole whopping 20 minutes on the bike before having to put it away!

Come on summer!

Ugh the gremlins!! 😩😮‍💨 Sorry you only had 20 minutes on two wheels.
I hit up a motorcycle parts swap yesterday & found a nice set of old school fancy pushrod tubes that would look mighty nice on my 49 Panhead. And met a couple nice older dudes that were in the local AMCA. Got to talking to them about old bikes and what not. I also picked up a more comfy seat for my 76 Shovelhead than the "show" seat that I had on it. So when I went to go about mounting it last night, ran into a few fitment issues. I'll end up having to make a custom bracket for the seat springs I think, but I got it mounted in a temporary fashion. I had to replace the brake/running light since I had an LED strip on the old seat. And so I had to set out to find one of the tail lights that I had. I'm still having to deal with finding which crate or box stuff is in after the move, it's is a real PITA. I did find my Passport that I truly thought was lost in the move, so that worked out nicely!! And I found a nice clean machined light that will work until I find the one I really want to put on this bike. I'm about to go out and finish wiring the light so I can try and get a ride in today before the rain shows up.

Best of luck with those dang Gremlins!
:devilish:
Don't feed them after midnight & God forbid you get that mofo wet. 😂

LOL!

I can really relate and feel for the moving box thing! We moved here in 2012 and I still have tools and parts in original moving boxes…..13 friggin years later!
