One of my goals with this 80 is to be subtely different. (easy bill) So, I got out some pipe, the roller (hmm, this is sounding like my youth) and the bender and viola.

Yes, that is a stainless fairlead in the middle.. I will be switching to a winch rope soon. Anyone want 50' of never used cable?

Critiques?

Just this side of reality.
Nice tube work, and probably a lot lighter than an ARB or similar. Maybe a couple more vertical braces in the big open triangles on both sides? Dunno, but I like it.

what are the specs on the tube you used?
DOM?
HREW?

poop pipe. Had it laying around. I use it to make railings and furniture.

1" schd 40, which I believe is about the same as 1.39 tube?

integral fairlead is .125 wall 304 stainless.

it would look pretty tight if you put some sheet metal in some places

Yeah, I mocked some stuff up, but I haven't decided. That's why I haven't sent it to powder coat yet. If I do, I am thinking that I won't make it flush, but halfway in the tube so to speak.

I've got some 10 gauge and 3/16ths plate laying around. We'll see.
