Great day out on the trail. @bassguyry was an excellent leader as expected. Weather was a textbook fall day in the Rockies - warm and sunny at the bottom, cold and windy up top. It was even spitting snow above tree line.

We ran the lower route with @timmbuck2 and picked up about 1/3 of a bag of trash. The rest of the group ran the upper route and only found a muffler to pick up. Trail was in great shape except for the rusting out culvert on the upper route. It will probably need to be replaced next summer.

Truck count:

40 Series 1
80 Series 1
100 Series 1
200 Series 2
GX 1
4th Gen 4Runner 1
1988 Hilux Pickup 1
Cybertrucks 2 (not really on our run :))

We had two out of town guests on the run. Rachael Elseman (Exec Director) from Overland Expo Foundation and a fellow who is with Rusty Nail Racing (didn't get his name).

Got a couple of pictures.

Thanks Dan, Ryland, everyone! Connor took a pic of that culvert we repaired earlier this summer, definitely will need work next year!

Adam Leidy was the white 100, part of Rusty Nail crew, Cruiser guy, and a fairly high level Forest Service staffer in his home area of CA. He's done some great cleanup and community service projects and over breakfast we were talking about King of the Hammers and Tread Lightly, I texted Matt, the rest is history!
Thanks for having him along. He said he had a great time.

Great run Ry, enjoyed getting out for the day. Smokey even enjoyed it. It was funny when those 5 Teslas rolled up to the trail head.
