The Front Range 4x4 bunch has a run going to Wheeler Lake and Twin Cone on Saturday Oct 3rd.
They are meeting at the Conifer Safeway/Starbucks at 8:00AM, leaving there at 8:15. Meeting the folks who come from the Springs at the Wheeler Lake trailhead above the Montgomery Reservoir spillway between 9:15 and 9:30.
We are also going to run some other trail in the area: Twin Cone, something off Tarryall Road, Jefferson Lake area, or Kenosha Pass area. We will see what conditions are like.
Expect snow.
I'm planning to go if I can get the windshield back in the Mule in time.

I've done Wheeler Lake. How are the other trails rated. I have a lifted FJC with 33's, E-Locker, A-Trac and body armor. I ran O.C.G. a while back without much difficulty. I'll be coming from the Springs. How can I get directions to the trailhead?

Go to Traildamage.com and go to "trails" and then Wheeler Lake. It will give you directions to the trail head, or you can meet the group in Conifer at the Safeway.
