Live Webinar:
TRAIL LEADER TRAINING WITH
Kurt Williams & Jackson Philby
I4WDTA trainers and professional guides.

Tuesday, February 27 at 7:00 pm MST

Two of our most experienced & certified trail leaders are doing a live webinar on YouTube from the Land Cruiser Heritage Museum in Salt Lake City. The webinar will provide an overview for our 2024 trail leader team, and all registrants are invited to listen in!

If this is your first Cruise Moab event or if you have ever considered leading a trail (at Cruise Moab or anywhere), make sure to tune in. You'll learn what to expect during a Cruise Moab trail run, and how we keep everything moving for maximum fun and safety. Make sure to stay tuned in until the end for a live Q & A session.

The webinar will cover the following topics(and more):
  • What makes a good trail leader/gunner
  • Leader Preparedness
  • Trail Etiquette + Safety
  • TREAD lightly
  • Protecting the crypto/bio soil crust in the Moab area
  • Spotting
  • Recovery

Really a great webinar. The Land Cruiser Museum tour at the end was great! They have significantly expanded their collection since I visited in 2016.

If you missed the webinar, you can watch the recording at the same link above.

Thank you @jps8460 and @cruiseroutfit!

I was at a parent's meeting at South with Connor during this but will watch the video this weekend.

Hmmm.....I might add a "Land Cruiser Museum" run to our 2024 calendar! I have always wanted to go...

Lemme know bro! I live ~30miles north of the museum and I have plenty of room for guests.

Sadly I missed the live webinar. I was (on a) training (run) 😄 but I'm certain it was great. Thanks Jackson and Kurt!! I'm going to watch the recording soon.

Did you highlight that anyone could become a leader?

Allen

Hi Allen!

Yep the guys highlighted the concept that interested and willing wheelers already have 90% of what it takes to be CM leaders and we want to help them succeed. -It was all in there, great show.
