wanted to pick some brains that do this more than i do. i swapped from ome heavy springs to light springs and new bushings. same shackles ect but with new u-bolts. my front tires now rub on the spring wrap/bolt at full turn. never rubbed before i swapped the springs and i have the same wheels and tires on it.

is the spring clamp the same distance on the new leaf as opposed to the old leaf? does the vehicle sit lower? that changes angles and would move the clamp.

Do your arrows on the springs point at the fixed hanger?

I would double check that the springs are drilled correctly.

I've had OME add-in extra leafs that had their center hole drilled in the wrong spot, like they were flipped end-to-end on the jig in the factory. In my case the location of the hole was way off and it wouldn't line up in the pack in either orientation so it might have been a complete FUBAR though.

Ever since I at least check by setting the new springs next to the original springs to see that the center pin seems right.
