Tire FAQ

I am working on a new FAQ for the 80's section on Mud. This item could pertain to most of our trucks. We always get the questions like, "what tire should I get" and many others. So I have spent some time compiling info on various tires. Would appreciate feedback and comments on how to make it better:

I probably am going to get the Coopr STT tires in the 315 size. These are more aggressive than the BFG AT KO's I currently run, yet not as loud on road as a lot of other MT's. I was looking at those and the Toyo MT's, but thopse are more $$ and a lot heavier.

Toyo Tire to Raise Prices by Up to 60 Pct in N. America

Osaka, Feb 7, 2008 (Jiji Press) - Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. said it will raise the prices of automotive tires for the North American market by up to 60 pct on March 1 due to rising raw materials and fuel prices.

The Osaka-based company will increase the prices of tires for passenger cars, light trucks, larger trucks and buses that are sold through a sales subsidiary in North America.
