I was never good at riding the wind even when I was racing. The downwind runs are super fun but those long, straight, open country roads just suck. Major climbs are no big deal since I know there's an end with a reward. The wind is just relentless.

I did make a pitstop to check out the construction on the new track in Erie though. Framing is up for one of the banks as well as the transition into the straight. Oh, it's going to be a fun track to ride. It's probably going to be pretty fast too. Can't wait.

yeah sometimes my back hurts from crouching for such a long time into the head winds...

Also, Al told me that they were thinking of reopening the Boulder velodrome.... We'll see...
