I drive by this all week, every week. Now it's for sale, I noticed. I can see the center diff lock button and some others but it is hard to see inside of, and I don't know where to look for front or rear locker switches. It looks "affordable" which is a good price range for a builder rig but, no price is posted. Its at 20something and Teller, in Wheat Ridge.

Based on the wheels, that's an FJ80 from '91 or '92, rather than an FZJ80 (1993-97).

That means:

• 3FE engine
• No front or rear lockers
• No full floating rear axle

Not saying you can't buy it and wheel it, but it's not the 80 model that most would be seeking.

Road tripping through Michigan this past week I met a fellow Mudder, Keith aka KKodet, in Grayling. He was driving a nice stock LX450 and gave the old FJ60 a thumbs up. He jumped out at a stop light and ran back and asked if I was interested in doing a little impromptu wheeling, as they were headed to a nearby trail. Heck yeah! Nice to get off the pavement for a bit and play in the sand!

He also has an FJ60 and just recently picked up the LX. He and his kids took Ilsa and I up to the Hanson Hills near Camp Grayling, which is a military base. Lots of tank trails and logging roads to play on.
