Did you guys run it backwards from last year? I thought I remembered that rocky shelf road in Wes' second pic having the hill sloped the other way? Maybe I'm just not remembering that part of the trail.

Wes' pic is on Pearl Pass. The scree ledge your thinking of is the highlight on Italian Creek.

I am soooooo disappointed I couldn't make it this year! I was so looking forward to it. This has been quite the summer and it doesn't look like it will let up much for me anytime real soon!
