Signed up for the beta, and got this text a bit ago. Haven't used it at all. I haven't gone anywhere without signal yet.

If Apple would only bring back the mini. Never understood the desire to try and carry around a tablet in your pocket.

I just always wanted to feel something big in my pocket.
You Tube infomercials has something about Blue Chew that can raise Antennas. Something about Microorchidism, Cremaster, Microphallus, I don't know? But seems as creating a better connection of a different level.

Just got this update today. Sounds like they are adding "older phones" rapidly. Early registrants will get a discount too.

I got the same text. I'm curious what their pricing will be and if it'll be justifiable. 5 ish bucks a month, yeah sure, I'm okay with that. 10 or more I'd have to debate about it. It'll be great piece of mind when camping in the middle of nowhere with no signal. But at 10 plus a month, I think I'd risk it and die in the middle of nowhere.

I'm looking forward to the day when your phone can be a hotspot for Starlink. I've been thinking about switching to Tmobile from Verizon for a while, and if I could ditch my monthly Garmin Inreach subscription that would be awesome. I've been paying forever to have it "just in case" but have probably sent under 20 text messages on it in the last year.

if the phone works as well as the internet, there won't be issues. only reason i have internet at my house is because of starlink. works great and i don't get the massive days long outages that other locals on "internet providers" get.

Depending on your Tmobile plan, it will be included. It looks like it will be 15 bucks a month but if you sign up early you can get 5 bucks off a month until you cancel.

hmmm....been thinking of switching from GoogleFi. Their customer service is laughable, some of the stories I have heard are unbelievable. This would make so much sense also for my kiddos who are now starting to wheel and camp in remote places WITHOUT ME!
