Side mirror brainstorm... no doors, with snorkel.

Well, I am needing/wanting a set of side mirrors for when I am towing the trailer and the fact that I have a snorkel makes this a bit more complicated than sourcing the usual mirrors available for the 40's. I love the windshield mounted ones but again the snorkel is in the way.

I am thinking of fabbing up a set that uses the upper hinge pin holes as a mounting spot. Any idea where to get a mirror head that could be made to work with a custom fabbed arm?

One of Treeroot's Fj40's that is at my house, mounted what looks like a set of mirrors meant for the windshield mounts, except it is bolted directly to the body and looks like it would clear a Snorkel. I do not have a digital camera or i would shoot you a pictire.... Always welcome to come by and take a look...
