The family and I headed down to the Salida and San Isabel National Forest area on Thursday and came back yesterday due to some pretty nasty rain and wind storms that blew through most of the day. We spent some time down on the Arkansas river for a while playing in the water. My wife, daughter and I spent a few hours picking up trash left behind by dirt bag "A" hole's. It's really sad to see the amount of trash that people leave behind in non-approved camp sites. Just in the area we were camping in, we found at least six different fire rings people had built. Other than that we had a pretty good time.
