I recently bought a set of new tires from a seller in Canyon City. His girlfriend (wife?) was going to install the tires on her 94 FZJ80, but she rolled it a few weeks ago. I briefly looked at the cruiser when I picked up the tires, Body is hammered. Factory green with tan CLOTH interior. The back seat was full of cleaning supplies so I could see the condition but the front seats looked good. The door cards looked good. The tailgate and hatch looked good (I think). Drivetrain had 190,000 ish miles. He thought the engine may have been swapped with a lower mileage unit but he had to check. It had some sort of lift. I spent maybe 2 minutes looking it over. I was in a rush to get back to Monument so I didn't think of snapping any pictures. I told the guy I would post on this site. He hasn't posted on FB yet.

He told me he was going to ask $800 for it. It's worth it for the parts if I had room and time to deal with it. His cell is 719-240-2373.

@SteveH said he might be interested in the rig. Let's let him respond with his confirmation before reaching out to the guy.

If anyone needs parts from this I would be happy to buy it and store it at my shop in Bailey and donate any parts any club member needed... Happy to help!

I have been thinking about doing the 140 treatment on my 60. This could go a long way to making that happen. Think I'll give the guy a call. left a text for him. We'll see what comes of it.

I have him sending me a few photos so I can confirm condition of the frame but most likely going to head to Canyon city to pick it up tomorrow. Thanks for the tip Telly.

Going to pick it up tomorrow. Once I have a chance to go through it I will post up parts that will be available. Looks like the 60 will be out of commision for awhile. Probably over next winter., always wanted a 140 as I think it is the best of both worlds. Can't wait to tell the wife:ROFLMAO:

Score!

Don't worry, you'll still be invited to the 60s only run, even if it is a 140.

I'm in the market for a full floater rear axle. If somehow that isn't needed I'd take it...

Got the 80 home today and checked fluids and put a battery in it. When I turned the key to the on position I heard a noise and looked back to find the rear wiper working away. The antena goes up and down and the factory stereo even works. I will be out of town for the next week but plan to dive in when I get back and see what all is salvagable on this old girl. May look to have an 80 series pick a part day for all the small parts some weekend in the future. 196K, previous owner bought it with 126K in 2016

got the seats pulled and put in dry storage. The carpet appears to be in very good condition if someone is looking to update worn or torn PM me. Got the truck moved behind the fence under it's own power so the neighbors won't complain. The rest is going to have to wait for awhile.

Edit: someone had one in the backyard that they’re bringing to me in a couple of weeks so not sure I’ll need this one anymore.

I am interested in the fan shroud, for LongCruiser, if it’s available. Mine is serviceable, but a little beat up.

I’m interested in the carpet. My 80’s carpet is heavily stained from the PO.

I'm in for the door cards assuming they are in good condition. Also might be interested in the lower lift gate if it's dent free. Its hard to tell from the photos

I am currently down in Florida visiting our Daughter. I will be back home mid next week and try to catch up with everyone on their parts needs.

Telly I will work to get the carpet pulled for you and then we'll figure out how to get it in your hands. Thanks again for the heads up on this truck.

I sent a PM a few days ago about the seats, door cards, and carpet.

...and possibly the dash.
