I noticed two new major illegal bypasses around minor obstacles on the climb out of the gulch. There are some spots that are getting chewed up and that is creating obstacles that people are trying to go around.

Oddly enough the gate at the end of the loop was open. This is the dead end that went to the mud pits. It has been closed for about 9 years! We didn't have enough time to explore down it. Hopefully it is open next I get up there.

Also of note: there is a new sign early on the trail stating that it has been adopted by Mile High Jeep Club.
