So how do I test for parking brake compliance? With automatic tranny it doesn't stall. Does preventing movement while idling qualify? Just wan't to be sure everything's good before heading out.

Get on a level surface. Engage the parking brake, put the rig in drive and give it gas to 1200 rpm. If the brake holds at 1200 rpm, it passes.
