OHV rule schedule!

Attached is the Implementation schedule for the Colorado forests for the publishing of their respective OHV Maps.
Once the maps are published, they are the RULE. If your 4wd road is NOT on the map, it is CLOSED!!!!! You are subject to a citation and fine if caught driving on it.

That's why I am stressing that you need to GPS the 4wd roads you drive on and turn in the information to the respective district ranger districts and ask them to include this road on the OHV map.

We have an opportunity to include non-system and social roads onto the map. But, you are the ones that have to do it; the NFS is not going to update their roads inventory to ensure they have captured all the 4wd roads we want in the system.

PS If the schedule says projected date of 2007, that's the governments fiscal year which begins 1 October 2006. So we have to get busy!!!!!!!

Bill, What's the size and format your using. I'll update the settings for members( or at least land use generals) to be sure we can post these items as it's of most critical importance.

File size. The Word doc was 29KB, and every time I tried to break it up into smaller files in Word it only got larger.

Microsoft. Can't live with 'em, can't BBQ 'em, whatcha gonna do...

Bill, just rename the Word file .doc.txt, our site allows txt files. Then users just rename the file with the correct extension. Or, email me the file and I'll make you a .pdf.
