On Saturday, September 23, Wildlands Restoration Volunteers will restore forest habitat in Left Hand Canyon, continuing the award winning work we began the last two years. Already, we have about 80 volunteers registered for Sep 23, and hope to find 10 more.
PROTECTIVE FENCE
On Wednesday and Thursday Sep 20 and 21, we will construct a VERY IMPORTANT 800 foot post and cable fence to protect this year's restoration area. Without this fence, the restoration cannot be completed! A backhoe will drill post holes. Volunteers will set the posts in concrete and string cable. To make things easier, we'll dry pack the holes with concrete and add water.
