Hi All,

It’s time for another noobs run on Slaughterhouse Gulch

Airing back up by 3:30p

days agenda - Airdown: 9:00am at the trail head.

This will be a fairly long and slow going day. Bring lunch, snacks, and a camp chair.

Bring rain gear just in case.

Bring out your gear and let’s talk about it.

When? I’m assuming this next weekend, but don’t see a date so figured I’d confirm?

And can a stock gx460 With street tires manage without damage, or would we need a more aggressive truck?

What year? Early gx460 yes. New, the splitter in the front will probably get ripped off.

Thanks, updated first post. Next Saturday.

2011, so defintely not a new one. & not minty fresh either so not a crisis, but sure don’t want to destroy it either. Not sure that is what we’d be driving, but Erica & I could both benefit from this run, and she’s always happier when the ride is a bit more plush.

You’ll be fine :)

I won't go this year to maybe let another "noob" in but perhaps we also have a "Old Hats" run and drive circles around em!:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I'd like to join the run! :D But I did it last year and if we're limiting to 10trucks total, I'll wait till a day before to confirm spot availability. Hope to give others a chance first :)

Same here
Good point
Would love to go but feel leaving room for someone trying to get experience might be better

I was just so excited I jumped on it

Maybe we could plan on going to slaughter house regardless

If there is room we could run with Jackson and if not we could split off

If you are a Noob get on this run
Jackson knows a ton and is a great guy

@Cocarlisle cool, I concur!

A suggestion for discussion though it'll likely be covered by hitting the list Jackson already has above:
- upgrades for stock vehicles (tires, sliders, skid plates, bumpers, comms, lift, recovery points, etc.). What's worth the most given the same time/money cost?

Happy celebrating memorial day!

I'm not a noob, but not super-experienced. I am typically the person that others come to for advice in my group of friends. That said, I'm sure I would learn something on the trip if there is a spot for me. I'll wait to make sure there is no one more green to decide 100%.

If you have 2 more spots my son and I would like to go. So we would be 2 trucks and 2 drivers, Chris and Parker. I have some experience and my son is pretty green. We went wheelin with a few club members last weekend and caught the bug...

Jackson - what is your count? I may plan some stuff in the area that involves some camping.

Maybe there should be a different group that leaves earlier so Jackson can give all his attention to the people who have not had the experience?
