There is a lot of confusion around this, at this point I can say with relative certainty that “produced” in this case means converted by third parties. It’s reasonably accurate to say that of the 150 or so civilian mega cruisers produced, approx 12 have presently been made into lhd trucks. Nearly every truck is different and the conversions vary in methodology as well. We can reasonably predict that the number of bxd-10/20’s in the US, as well as the number of lhd conversions, will increase now that the trucks are beginning to age into potential US imports under the 25 year rule.
Coloradans are particularly fortunate in that we have proximate access to Proffitt’s Resurrection Land Cruisers in Orchard City. They have experience with these trucks and have even performed lhd conversions in house! Not to mention all of our friends and resources next door in Utah!

Update: The truck will be arriving around January of next year.
Does this include you driving it around the middle east/Europe?
