Need pre 79 fj40 leaf spring to get home

Hi I just bought a 67 fj40 in idaho and am driving to florida. The rear driverside leaf spring completly broke in oaklahoma. Does anyone have an old one (even if flat) I can buy cheap that will last till florida? dave

I have two complete sets of stock pre-79 FJ40 springs. They'd be $$ to ship though. Have you tried TLCA chapter Tornado Alley Cruisers? Farther from OK than Green Country Cruisers, but closer than here.

You also might see about some kind of temporary repair, like welding a plate (or plates, one on top one on bottom of the broken part) on just to get you home. Where is the break? Assuming main (bottom) leaf, right?
