Free Breakfast,

> Free lunch,

> Free dinner,

> and most importantly,

> Free Fat Tire beer straight from the keg

>

> This Saturday September 24th is National Public Lands Day (Grand County event)

>Where:

> Sol Vista Ski Area (past Winter Park & Fraser & Tabernash, turn right

then 2.5 miles to the Sol Vista Basin Lodge)

> When:

Registration starts at 7:00am but we also need a few drivers to bring

pops/snacks out to each of the 5 sites at 11:00am

> Why:

COHVCO and CA4WDCI are listed as "Non-Profit Organizations helping"

and we always get good press for OHV's plus this year there is work at

a future 4WD trail (Wolford 4WD Technical Trail) that should open up

in 2006 on BLM land. Usually at least 30 or more USFS & BLM & NPS

employees in attendance.

> What: easy work driving out a cooler & box of food to a work site or

you can bring your gloves and pick a site to work at all day or after

dropping off food.

> Please call me or e-mail if you can make it. We need a few more

drivers and workers!

I hear ya. It was forwarded to me about 30 seconds before I posted it, meaning no notice at all. I woulda liked to have gone too. A new 4x4 trail! Not only that, but it would make a sweet destination for a trip starting on Jenny Creek, then over Boulder Wagon Road should we ever get that opened, thence on to the new trail...
