We arrived at Slickrock Campground today at 3pm. The roads were dry, blue skies and 75 degrees. There is no cotton on the trees and we may luck out and miss it completely this year. Weather is supposed to be great all week. Were in space 163. Hurry up and get here, stop by and see us.

We are in route from Hole in the Rock Rd. but nursing a wounded camper. Bent the axle a few days ago. The HWY is taking its toll fast on the rubber. Anyone know of a source in Moab for an on the shelf trailer axle in case I need to RV park mechanic?

PM'd you. Also, if anyone rolling through G.J. can stop at tractor supply, they have some depending on the size.

Straighten the axle! You need a bottle jack 1 or 2 chains and something rigid like a rr tie, i beam, 6x6, thick fence post.....etc. you will be shocked at how easy they are to bend/straighten!

I am back, reluctantly..

Could only go for a few days pre-CM, but got to do some fun stuff..Camp with the KTM biker team, drink MS margs, hurricane wind test the RTT at the Arches camp ground, hike to the double O arches with the family and the Nakman fam, and do a little Kokopelli sliver on the way home..

Not a bad set of activities in such a short time but miss the desert already..

Here is Nakman crossing the Delores, brave soul he is, I passed this time..

On Thursday we had 16 rigs on E Hill...I was gunning and the RHD 4Runner from Canada was having problems on the first ledge...unlocked and small tires probably not a great idea, we tried for awhile, then had to have someone back down to strap him up. Took a long time, a few older guys walked up from the parking lot to see what was taking us so long. We finally get him strapped up to the next area and found out he toasted a CV. He as able to crawl back down in 2WD to the parking lot and ride with someone else. Once we all got to the top, this came cruising up the hill like it was NO problem, looking at us like "what's the big deal??"

...awesome
