AWESOME TIME today!!!

Great trail, great people, lots of fun.

We had a pretty good mix. 2 4runners, 1 tundra, 2 40's and 1 62.

Trail was a blast. Muddy in areas, but for the most part in good condition. Snow on the sides of the trail, but none on the trail itself.

Water was deep. Deepest I've seen it up there. In one spot, I completely submerged my 33" tires, and my headlights got wet from the minimal bow wake I was pushing.

Everyone made it through fine, though Subzali took some water on as it came in over his door sil, and I had exhaust issues. I pulled a good amount into the pipe through various holes and leaks (I definitely need a new exhaust system). This gave me enough back pressure to kill the truck at idle. Luckily, we ate lunch there, and that gave me time to let the water evaporate.

Found a few submerged rocks with my skids, but I don't think anyone sustained anything more than a few diff drags.

I forgot my camera, so I'll be deferring to others for pictures.

Great Run!! I submerged my header collector up there. The bolts came loose sometime thereafter and the exhaust gasket blew out before I got to Lyons. My hubs are also weeping milk...time to drain 'em and crack open the Birf rebuild kit and get to work.. but it was definitely all worth it. :D

More pics! Proof that minitrucks and Cruisers CAN play well together! ;)

At the last major water crossing, there was a small hole that I dropped into that was JUST enough to pour water into my floorboards! Having very miniature geysers was a new experience for me, but fun! And I committed the cardinal sin of pushing in my clutch while I was in the deep part of the water. It started slipping when I tried to get going again, but finally grabbed and I was able to get out. But I heard some scraping noises after that for a little while, and I knew the little bit of grit that was in the water was having fun with my pressure plate and flywheel! Oh well I need to replace the clutch pretty soon anyway...

Great trail and I am looking to spend more time up in that area in the future! Thanks Isaac! :thumb:

That FJ60 power steering I have my sights on is sounding better and better all the time too! Gonna try to make that happen this summer.

Yes, mini trucks, cruisers and MAXI trucks can play well together.

Seans Tundra is AWESOME. Nothing like a Camburg long travel front and diamond rear to give you confidence, eh?

Thanks to all for making this such a great run. It seemed like everyone had a great time, new folks were having a good time together, and while a little chilly, the weather held fair for us.
