All,

I wanted to put together another Middle St. Vrain & Coney Flats run on Saturday August 8th. For those of you who haven't ran this trail before, the trail is located north west of Boulder off of the peak to peak highway (highway 72). The trail is actually two trails that connect to make a loop. Both trails have a little bit of everything including some light technical rock crawling, amazing mountain views and a decent water crossing. This run usually takes a good 4 1/2 to 5 hours to go all the way around depending on how long you play around at the Coney Flats water crossing and for lunch so please be prepared for that.

For this trail I would suggest that your vehicle has at least a mild lift & 33" tires. Middle St. Vrain is moderately challenging but once we make the turn up Coney Flats it becomes more difficult.

I attached direction to the trail head from both Boulder and Longmont, depending on what side of town you are on. See ya then!

I should be able to swing this. Work is picking up and I'm waiting for a very large project to start. Once that happens I'll be working every other Saturday and possibly every sat depending on if the newbs last through their trial period.

Did you still want to do this this weekend? I'm trying to make the time to change my rear diff fluid and get my rotors turned. Rotors are in the bed of the work truck to get done tomorrow and the fluid has been drained. Just need to get fresh fluid and shiny rotors done tomorrow!

I'm still in if other folks are? As of right its just you and me. If you can't make it, don't sweat it. We can set up something for a later date.

Right on! Sounds like we'll have at least 4 rigs.

Just to let everyone know, I have Daniel's new handy dandy Midland GMRS radios to use for tomorrow so we don't need to worry about comms. i.e. ham or CB.
