Seeing Metallica for the first time in 22 years at mile high. This is a two night event that features Ice Nine Kills, Limp Bizkit and Metallica the first night (Friday) and then Suicidal tendencies, Pantera and Metallica again(Sunday).

Went last night and I was blown away.

The performance Metallica put on was amazing. Felt like a kid again!

Awesome!

I had no idea that Limp Bizkit was still around. I’d love to see them too.
A lot of people don't like the Nu-Metal genre, hip-hop and Metal but Fred Durst, lead singer of Bizkit is one of the best live front-men that I've seen. The guy is always hyping people up, walking around the entire stage, in the actual crowd. He's legit.20250627_190034.jpg20250627_192421.jpg20250627_192505.jpg

When Metallica came on to play, they started at one corner of the circular stage and after about 4 or 5 songs, Lars drum kit would lower down into the stage and then a different kit would pop up at a different corner of the stage. They did this four times essentially playing in front of everyone at every corner of the stage. Crazy!

I almost went last night. Opted to camp. Last time I saw Metallica was 1982. I was 12. They were great.

Night two of the M72 world tour. Hard to out-do Fridays concert but they did it.

Suicidal Tendencies opened up and they were awesome. Of course they played institutionalized.

Pantera always hits hard. This is my second time seeing them in the last few years. Phil's vocals are decent still, Zakk Wylde does Dime justice shredding the guitar and Charlie Benante is a master on the drums.

And what can you say about Metallica that hasn't already been said before.

that's awesome! I saw Suicidal Tendencies play last summer at Riot Fest, was totally impressed.
