Hauling firewood for this year's season reminded me of this thread.

New project...and minis can work too!

So Monday I had a couple hours so figured I'd see what I could see...think I got 8 or 10, didn't count 'em. Hopefully some of them are good enough to get a good start on the ones I need to make. Chain tool's arriving Thursday.:)

Uh oh...looks like the original thread has died :(

It did, but here's a new photo from earlier this year:

No, she was happy to be moving in.

That's my stepdaughter Ashley, some of you may remember her from the BOW run year before last when it rained. She's a sweetie and the point of the photo was loading the heck out of your Land Cruiser and working it the way they were made to work.

Happy cruisin'!

My dad and I wheeled the ditch  We did laps in our Cruisers :D

We had to smooth it out a bit for the tractor.

What we're doing is making a big turnaround in front of our new barn, so we had to bulldoze a bunch of the scrub oak and now we have lots of firewood!

Hey Bill - recognize anything? :)

BTW Treeroot, can I have your LPB? :D

Feel free to borrow her for as long as you like.

It's got a [1]-barrel carb and [single exhaust],
4:11 gears that really get lost -
Safety tubes and I'm not scared,
The brakes are good and the tires are fair.

lets see if the old farts know that one:D

here is an artsy pic of the crap she hauled all the way from Washington:

Even a mini taco can work! What would you say, about 7-800 lbs. in the bed? Front axle w/ARB, Full Float Rear Axle w/ Lockright, 4" lift springs and shocks...

The second picture still has the full floater in it, I'll take a picture tomorrow of it unweighted. When it was full it was 1/2" from the bumpstops

EDIT: last picture is unweighted

Well it's kinda like a mini Taco...what do you want to call it? A mini-minitruck? :lmao:

It's an RN-93 mmkay? Got upwards of 27 mpg this past week, not sure on the exact number yet, might even break 28 :thumb:

You know you could just use its model name... Pickup or Hilux.

See sig

geez look what happens when you get on the wrong side of these minitruck guys, I try to let my brain idle for two seconds and "minitaco" was the first thing to come to mind, it rolls of the tongue/brain easier than "pickup" and I get kaiboshed for it.

Back on topic please, I added the last pic that shows what it looks like unladen. Yes it's 2wd (again in sig).

Sounds like a Toyota to me with that gas milage... You should get to Moab on a tank and a quarter with that number, if not better:cool:

My Dads X-Terra got me from Moab to Denver on a tank of gas this past weekend.
