Looking for Cruiser mechanic

Hi,

I have a 73 FJ40 w/SBC and original 3 speed. The previous owner put in Saginaw PS and did a crap job. He also added over the frame headers which were melting all the wiring. I got stock exhaust manifolds for the thing to replace the headers and discovered the very sketchy PS.

At this point I would like to hire someone to work on the Cruiser. I just don't have the time. I would like to get the PS fixed properly, put the exhaust manifolds on and get it back on the road. Eventually I want to replace the engine and tranny (NV4500?).

So, if you guys could provide some suggestions for Cruiser mechanics I would appreciate it. I am in Broomfield.

BTW-I would love to come to a meeting but always seem to be out of the country on the first Wednesday of each month! I'll get to one eventually.

Got to put a plug in for Ron over at Rocky Mountain Cruisers...He isn't cheap but IMO he does good work, treats you VERY fairly, and tells you everything straight up. He pretty far South for you though...Off Santa Fe and Evans area
