I personally think the ladies run ended up being the best run out of the event. We had four trucks with two drivers new to wheeling and two trucks with experienced drivers, in short the perfect teacher to student ratio.
We started super early and that ended up being amazing, after coffee and burritos. We had the first half of the trail to ourselves most of the morning! We ended up turning the run into a driver skill set day. We walked obstacles, went over line choices and spotting. Watching the newer ladies gain confidence in themselves as well as thier trucks was my favorite part. Smiles for days!
We had one driver who only planned on the first half because she needed on the road before 11 and another had issues with getting her truck in four low. So we finished the second half with the two experienced trucks, had an amazing lunch spot and just general fun playing around on the 2nd half.
Sara Sherk (spelling?) Was super rad and let me ride shotgun with her! We have also planned out how we want the ladies run to evolve for next year. Hint, it's going to be rock! We want more women involved in the hobby and to develop the skillset to do any of the Cruise Moab trails. I cannot not wait to work with her and have more ladies joining us at Cruise Moab next year.
Big thanks to everyone who was able to make this happen! @NotyourmomsWife for being the trail boss and doing her best to make sure we had this run on the list! It meant so much to everyone who made it out.
