An Australian just biked the Koko trail on Saturday and recorded the fastest time ever from Moab to Loma.

Meh. Impressive human feat? Yes, of course. But what's the point of time trialing Kokopelli? You miss the views, sunrise at Westwater, evening alpenglow in the La Sals, beers with friends in camp.

BTW, the woman's record is held by Rebecca Rauch. She finished dislocated her finger in a crash and rode around 11 hours with it popping in and out.
