lets talk knuckles.whats the difference between my drum brake knuckles and disc brake knuckles? Is one knuckle stronger then the other? does the year matter? can I reuse my knuckle and get everything fom the knuckle out off a disc truck,fj 40, 60? does anyone have a complet set of parts I can buy to do a conversion? I went to blakes and took a look at the there stock of 60s for a conversion but they wanted 400 for the parts and they were pretty well rusted and beat up. so please school me on my options.

you want 79 and up, it has a wider bolt pattern on the steering arms and caps, also, the birf is a shorter shaft that will take the aisan hub and a bigger bell (you will need to do slight grinding on your housing to get it to fit).
