King of the Hammers 2026

LongCruiser plans to go leaving January 29 or 30, 2026. Two days to get there. One long day to Vegas (probably not. Maybe St. George). Arrive Saturday night the latest because usually Baja Designs throws a party. Return trip: Leave Johnson Valley Sunday February 8th. Back in Denver February 9th. Maybe it won't take so long. Those were six-cylinder times.

I'm not going to try and persuade anyone. I'm not asking. Its just a week of unrestrained good all American 4x4 insanity. Whatever you do, do not go with me. Do not think of tooling around the comfortable temperature of the Southern California high desert in January / February when everyone in Denver is buried in snow in the one and only crowd pleasing LongCruiser going from crazy obstacle to crazier obstacle watching so much stupid fun.

Nope, just don't.

KOH preparation is underway.
Colorado is usually represented by a few teams, including Kim and Hunter Sparrow. Kim is former RS Member, Commander, and TLCA President Dave Brown's (Red Fox) daughter.
Rusty Nail Racing, with folks in many states but based in Montrose, is the epicenter (IMHO) of Toyota fundom at KOH.

They have embraced the LongCruiser for the second time. If you know the Hammer's community at all, this is humbling.
