I need someone to help me edit my YouTube videos, I just don't have the time to do it and I'm falling too far behind. I've offered to pay people to help me before but I can't find someone who can stick around and get it done. Does anyone know someone who can do video editing and looking for a side hustle?

Odd thought, but is this something that you might be able to find on Fiverr?

what's the process going to be like when tags need to be renewed?

Once I get it more buttoned-up I'm going to take it to one of the Air Care stations and get it inspected. There is some process where they will inspect it and check it off as an EV then I get to pay extra taxes and get a little EV sticker :) From then on it will be exempt from all emissions testing and other rules and be treated just like any other EV, which is pretty cool.

I won't have much to update for a little while as I'm moving out of my shop and doing Christmas and New Years etc but I don't think I posted these photos of the battery box so I thought I'd post them. I thought the stencil was cool  Will do a custom stencil with the battery capacity on top I think.

And @MonPetiteShoe did a great job cutting out a slot for the Blackbox shifter:

I've looked into the process out here in Cali. Basically the smog folks look the vehicle over to make sure all of the stuff needed to cram the original engine back in has been removed. They particularly call out the fuel lines needing to be completely removed. It sounds like a MUCH less onerous process then doing an engine swap.

I do wonder if I had an EV sticker on my truck and went into the HOV lanes without passengers how long it'd take me to be pulled over 🤣 (out here you can get a sticker for your EV that lets you use the HOV lanes any time with any number of people in the car).
