Hi Folks,

Super last minute, but we were eating dinner and chatting.. decided a fun run was in order for tomorrow and that it'd be fun to see if anybody wanted to come..

Our plan is to get breakfast and coffee at New Moon Bakery in Ned @9:30 and roll out by 9:45 with hot coffee and some tasty food in hand.

We'll wheel Jenny Creek, maybe find a spot for Mila to fish for an hour, then finish the trail. Once at Yankee Doodle we may head up to the forest lakes trailhead and hike down to them or just head home, we'll play it by ear. We'll stop for a picnic lunch wherever we are at when noon rolls around or we get hungry.

Anyhow, It'll be Me (Marco) My wife Allison, and Daughter Mila (5) with our two dogs in our Silver 80. I'll have the Ham radio on and be monitoring for anybody who might be straggling. Research the trail to decide if you/your rig is capable.

Details:

What:
Wheel Jenny creek, possible hike to forest lakes

When:
Sunday Sept the 25th

Where:
meet at New moon Bakery @ 9-9:30, roll out by 9:45.

Comms:
HAM 147.420
FRS channel 5

We'll be in our Silver FZJ80 with Gamiviti Roof Rack & 33's

I’ll try to hit you on simplex from the top of red cone. Doubt I will be able to though because I will only have the HT.

That's a nice looking moose. I don't think there is any way I would have hit you with my HT, though I did try: too much stuff in the way including Argentine Pass and James Peak:

yeah that looks like a long way and a lot of terrain.

It was a big moose, three cows with it too.
