Anyone interested in running hole in the rock Sunday - monday or tues? I need to be back up in the swell tues afternoon. My usual wheeling crew is not going out this year but we still want to run it. Prefer not to run it alone but probably will if we don't get any takers.

I've run it before. It's super fun and lots of Slickrock. There are a couple mildly attention getting spots that anyone with a lift and rear locker would be fine on.

Wish my knee wasn’t f’ed up.

I will say I thought there were plenty of attention grabbing spots while wheeling with 400lbs on my roof. Without the RTT and fuel up there it would have been different.

I'm also running the swell on Tuesday to Thursday but I'm not familiar with this trail or it's rating. Do you know what it is rated?

Maybe running on Monday would work depending on the difficulty.

Such an awesome trail, my 100 finds it to be a sustained challenge, right at the edge of what she likes. I want to get back down there and spend a few days but I don't think next week is it for me, I'm going to stick to easy stuff for pre runs.

It’s like Hells Revenge difficulty with more off camber than steep up down in fall line. Lots of stuff like “Tip Over Challenge” if you’ve taken that line on Hells.

Super remote, so if you break you need to be able to trail repair. No bailout. And no bypasses.

ok. Thanks. I think I'll stay with something easier too.

Maybe I'll go and check out the swell area in advance of the run starting Wednesday. Or go to Moab and do some runs there on Monday and Tuesday.
