Here is an opportunity to get a major 4X4 project accomplished, get the
responsible use message out and get recognition for your 4X4 partners.
Primedia is looking to do a project in Colorado. They would coordinate
volunteers, provide materials and equipment, (this includes heavy equipment
if needed) and produce an article in Petersons' 4 Wheel Magazine. All BLM
would provide is the project and supervisors. The project has to be a 4
wheel drive type and have local club support.

If you are interested please send me a brief description. Include:

Geographic description Size-(probably feet or miles of 4X4 route) What is
needed How many people Why is it important Benefits to 4X4 Community

I would like to get back to Patti with a list of projects by the end of
November. So please respond by November 15th. Please call if you have
questions.

i think that is being handled by the rollins pass restoration society. but the bog is something i discussed with janice from the state association today. also the bog farther in where the trees were down. i think jenny creek would be a great place and the letter states that this is basically approved through blm which might eliminate the red tape about licensed contractors operating heavy machinery on blm land.
